Rock Music enjoys continued popularity since last fifty years. It is, by far, the best selling music among all genres and forms. That clearly shows its popularity through out the world including U.S.A, U.K, Germany, France, and Australia. It enjoys great popularity in Asia, Africa and Americas as well.

It was born as Rock and Roll in 1950s. It was a fusion form of Rhythm & Blues, Country and other popular forms. It became instant hit across the United States of America. Bo Didley and Chuck Berry were the early rock artists. Little Richards and Fats Domino were also popular. It was widely accepted as popular form of music and spread to Britain and other countries.

We are now seeing a new trend in television. The soundtrack of television shows nowadays are really good, just listen to the show Supernatural. Music has always been a big part of a show’s success. However, most people think that it isn’t what makes or break a show. They would be dead wrong. Granted that plot, acting, direction, script, and other film elements are central to shows; good music can bring in more fans and can significantly affect the mood of the show.

Rock bands used a mix of many other types of musical styles and genres that had come before it to develop a brand new and exciting sound. Popular cultural figures have inspired fashion trends for generations, and rock bands are no exception. In fact, rock bands are often the main influence in many popular styles since it first developed in the music scene. Vintage clothes, dressing glam and wearing other related merchandise not only represents your musical style but also makes a personal statement. Rock bands have also greatly contributed to the popularity of the t-shirt.

The t-shirt developed from longer underclothes worn during the turn of the last century. By World War II, the t-shirt as we know it today had been developed and began to grow in use and popularity, although most often was still used only as an under garment. In the 1930s, companies such as Sears, Hanes and Fruit of Loom began to mass market the t-shirt. In the 1950s, James Dean forever popularized the look of the t-shirt as outerwear. This decade also ushered in the first uses of promotional messages seen on t-shirts.
